Hotel Weisses Kreuz in St Gallen is not only exceptionally comfortable but also very friendly. Its prime location near the central train station, museums, and Kulturfestival make it a brilliant choice. Plus, it's just a short 10-15 minute walk from Museo tessile di San Gallo. the hotel offers a variety of meal options with fine food to enjoy.

Really enjoyed St. Gallen, the hotel was wonderful and NICE little in city centre. The service was nice and the food was nice. Furthermore, free Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property. The location was good and brilliant, not very far from a significant medieval monastic library.

I loved the fact that I could reach the train station in just 5 minutes, which meant less walking in my fancy shoes. And the on-site bar was perfect for drowning my sorrows after a day of disappointment.
Who needs soundproof rooms when you can hear everything happening in the streets, neighboring rooms, and even the rooms below? So soothing, especially at 4 am.

The locating is great. 5 minutes walk to the main train station may be less. Good breakfast for the price. Nice polite staff, very helpful. Toilet and the shower were outside of the room but it was absolutly no problem. On the first floor there is a bar. The rest of the building is a hotel. There are all the bars near by. We stayed on the weekend. The bar was open till 1 a.m The street was crowded with young people.
Overall it was good. Keeping in mind that the building is quite old there was no elevator and the stairs are quite high. There is a bar on the first floor that gets crowded so it may be noisy till 1 a.m if you decide to sleep on Saturday night;-)

The location was perfect for us party-loving teenagers, with a short walk to the epic nightlife and cool bars in St Gallen. The staff was super chill and gave us great recommendations for the best clubs in town. The rooms were clean and comfy, providing a good place to crash after dancing all night. We had a blast and would totally stay here again!
The only thing we'd ask for is a dedicated party room in the hotel. It would be awesome if the hotel had a designated space where we could hang out with our friends and have some pre-drinks before hitting the town.

The room and the hotel in general are old and they seem not so clean.

- Very helpful, friendly staff - Opening hours convenient - Excellent location, close to city centre and main station
- Pictures on Booked.net do not reflect actual interior - Thin walls, other travellers coming and going at all hours - Only very basic breakfast - Highly reminiscent of a hostel
